and meandering cells crashing,
colliding on the errant shore
of my being, I struggle to see
the cosmic grace in the random
explosion of outer events,
that logic fails to explain.
I sit by the window waiting,
as if time alone will allow
everything to once more
coalesce into a whole,
a summation of disparate
parts that finally make sense.
Forgetting for this infinitesimal
blip of second that there is always
the One who never stops. Let this,
knowledge regained provide the succor I seek,
to regain at least a modicum of trust-
providing, at last, a replenishment
of recognition. Another breath and all else
is vanquished, save this constant
beauty, all around me now.
